Design and Other Services

In addition to coal and overburden exploitation, Pljevlja Coal Mine JSC, through its Development and Investment Department, carries out activities in the field of project and technical documentation for its own needs and for third parties. Our Department has a team of qualified experts in this field, who have successfully completed many projects over the past five years. One of the most recent projects was the technical design for the closure and reclamation with repurposing of the P.K. "Podi" site near Herceg Novi.


Our Department provides the following services

  1. Preparation of project investment-technical documentation for prospective deposits in order to preserve and expand the raw material base
  2. Preparation of feasibility studies and analyses of the justification of all types of investment projects
  3. Updating and verification of project investment-technical documentation for active sites
  4. Design supervision of works execution
  5. Participation in the preparation of exploration projects, reports, and annexes on classification, categorization, and calculation of reserves and quality for active and potential deposits
  6. Preparation and updating of Environmental Impact Assessment reports related to mining operations
  7. Preparation of deposit reports for the purpose of signing and extending concession agreements
  8. Monitoring of the technological process of overburden and coal exploitation at active sites, and improvement and rationalization of the technological process
  9. Research work in the field of surface mining, with special focus on the interpretation of structural and quality indicators, and technical-technological conditions of overburden and coal exploitation
  10. Expert opinions and assessments in the field of mining and related disciplines
  11. Technical review and evaluation of investment-technical documentation for other entities
  12. Technical and other consulting services

All activities listed above, which we carry out for the needs of Pljevlja Coal Mine JSC, equally apply to third parties as services we can provide to them, with financial compensation.
